Trophy made for the 2022 edition of the Gentse Florialiën, a grand festival of flowers in the city of Ghent. The trophy is a handmade hand made out of resin, decorated with delicate bronze flowers.
It illustrates the green touch, or the florist's capacity to give life with a simple gesture of the hand.
Grounded in the artistic tradition of classic hierographic iconography and particularly inspired by the rythmic recurrence of flowers in the Cuzco School paintings, PECTEN has created this tableau of a family unit.
